About The Owner
Maria S. gonzalez, dpt, cpst
Maria has a Bachelor's degree in Communications and a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. She has worked for over 10 years as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in orthopedic settings, on Broadway's The Lion King, and in private practice. Safety and injury prevention have been her professional focus for many years, and became her personal focus when she became a mother.
When she was pregnant with her first son, she decided to become a stay-at-home mom. She researched endlessly to determine which would be the best car seat for her family. After making the selection and reading through the manual on installation, she realized it could be complicated and confusing for parents. She wished she had some help along the way in this process.
There is so much doubt as a first-time parent, and the last thing one needs to doubt is the safety of their child in the car seat. She vowed to help other families in this often confusing and overwhelming task of education in car seat safety, the process of selecting a car seat, installation of that seat, and finally, harnessing the child correctly. She became a Nationally Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician and has been working with families ever since to teach them how to keep their children safe and secure.
We question SO many things as parents but our children's safety is one thing we shouldn't doubt.
